Heartland Cacher: Greetings I'm Heartland Cacher, one of the volunteer reviewers for caches submitted to Geocaching.com.

I can't find any recent responses from the Cache Owner about maintaining this cache which makes it appear the Cache Owner is either unwilling or unable to maintain the cache. Cache maintenance includes listing maintenance including updating any changes to the text, updating coordinates, removing needs maintenance attributes and enabling the listing. The cache will be archived and removed from the active cache listings.

"If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived." Geocache Description:


Stanton County is a county located in the U.S. state of Nebraska. As of the 2010 census, the population was 6,129. Its county seat is Stanton. Stanton County is part of the Norfolk, NE Micropolitan Statistical Area.

In the Nebraska license plate system, Stanton County is represented by the prefix 53 (it had the fifty-third-largest number of vehicles registered in the county when the license plate system was established in 1922).

Stanton County was formed in 1865. It was first called Izard County until 1867, when it was renamed for Edwin M. Stanton, Secretary of War during the administration of President Abraham Lincoln.
