Start Time: Wednesday, October 8 @ 6:30pm-7:30pm , Summerside (Meet at GC3VPVY)
Before Arriving: You need to print and bring your Bib (and add GC3VPVY to the box). Here is the link:

Before Walking: We will snap a quick group pic on location, holding up bibs (above). This is necessary to meet international Virtual 5K requirements!
Route: We will be heading along the boardwalk for about 1.25 km westwardish (to the middle of the bridge)then turn around and go back toward GZ and onward toward the Shipyard Market (and beyond if necessary) until we reach 1.25 km from the Earth Cache in that direction. We'll then turn around and head back (same route) to our starting point. (If there are any overachievers that want to jog, sprint, or skip along the route, you are also welcome). The only prerequisite for claiming the icon is timing your 5k walk. I use the Runtastic app but there are loads of others out there, or you could use your watch or any other type of timer to keep track if you want to move along at a different pace.
Afterwards: In order to claim your icon, you will need to submit this online form after you complete the 5k:

At the Finish Line: There will be some very light snacks (orange slices, etc) and water to revitalize you!
