The old phone stand …..

Instead of it being inside it was always (supposed to be) on the back.

Unfortunately …. The stand has been cut down and the hide no longer viable.

Thanks to everyone who came to find this one over the years.

After stopping in the area on other business, we found this location that reminded us of times gone by when folks had answering machines, or at the least someone would have to take down information on who had called.
