North of Marysville Letterbox Hybrid

The cache is located near Hwy 70 about a mile north of Marysville. Simply follow the directions given below. There is a stamp in the container with which you can stamp the log, or you can use a stamp of your own.

1. At the posted coords you will be alongside Hwy 70, facing north, next to a gold diamond sign.
2. Drive north, past a guardrail and a bridge, until seeing a "Laurellen Street" sign on your right.
3. Immediately past the sign, turn right and park near the white gate (but NOT blocking it).
4. Starting at the gate, walk east on the levee for about 80 paces until arriving at an overgrown, abandoned paved road on your right.
5. Walk south on this road for about 35 paces until reaching the first tree, which will be on your left.
6. The cache is at the base of this live-oak tree.
