How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

"The Cliff" or "Die Krans" is a great place to meet for sundowners. Plenty of parking, and seating overlooking the Crocodile river.

Near The Cliff there is another memorial bench in a secluded spot. A great view over a bend in the river allows easy spotting of African wildlife.

Bring your binoculars and a camera.

This area is easily accessible by vehicle, or on foot. Beware of wild animals, and please take care of this pristine park by not littering.

Keep your eyes open for Elephant, Buffalo, Hippopotamus, Warthog, Waterbuck, Lion, and Leopard, amongst many other species of African fauna. Bird life in the river basin is also abundant - Fish Eagles, Purple Crested Louries, King Fishers, and White Fronted Bea Eaters are just a few of the colorful birds you can expect to see.
