A small cache to be found at the base of one of three giants stood amongst the gently rolling hills around Weston - one of North Herts prettiest villages.
This easy to find cache is more about the lovely walk than the hunt. It is to be found about a mile after leaving the centre of Weston following the Weston Golden Jubilee Walk in a clockwise direction.
Weston and the two other small villages that join this walk together are chock full of beautiful old thatched properties including one that featured in the film Nanny McFee starring Emma Thompson and Colin Firth. There is also a sizeable length of Roman road and a grave to be found belonging to that of a giant rogue who lost his eyes to the local bakers! What more could you want form a weekend walk? Well somewhere to eat and drink of course . . . and this particular walk takes in three very good pubs offering excellent food and ales.
