Lakeview Park, on the shores of Lake Erie, is known for its Historical Rose Garden, spectacular sunsets and views of the Lorain Lighthouse. The park hosts a variety of recreational opportunities for visitors of all ages, from swimming and sunbathing, to lawn bowling, beach volleyball, picnicking and more. The historical Rose Garden was originally dedicated on May 30, 1932 and is a beautiful sight when in full bloom. The fountain has its own beauty with colored lights. From the cache area, you can see many of the sights like the giant Easter Basket, the rose garden, Lake Erie and the Lorain Lighthouse. We hope you’ll enjoy your stop here.

This cache is part of the Back Roads and Beaches Geo Trail in Lorain County and will take you along rolling, rural roads with beautiful scenery that ranges from farmland and forest to the nautical flavor of the Lake Erie shoreline.
