PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS AS A PARK AND GRAB. THERE IS NO SAFE PARKING ALONG GEORGE WASHINGTON HIGHWAY. STOPPING YOUR VEHICLE NEAR THIS CACHE IS NOT ONLY A HAZARD TO YOUR HEALTH AND WELL BEING BUT COULD ALSO PUT OTHERS AT RISK.
Simple traditional cache along the bike trail between the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail to the south and Deep Creek Park to the north. Ample parking is available at both parks. There is no where to park along Rt 17 near this cache. Please DO NOT attempt to drive to this cache!
Placed this while enjoying a bike ride along this new section of trail. The trail is multi-use, paved and fairly flat. Fairly easy ride or walk from either park but closer to the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail parking.
