Electrical Storm Traditional Geocache

We went in search for a good vantage point of the new 20MW Royalla Photovoltaic Solar Farm and found this spot! From here you can not only see the Power station from a different angle but you can also see some other significant landmarks around Canberra.   

There are plenty of good vantage points of the Royalla Solar Farm along here though we felt this provided the most impressive and unique view!

Getting here will take a bit of work, though the views are certainly worth it and there is plenty of wildlife to see.  We even spotted a wombat in broad daylight strolling across the area when we placed the cache. 

The 20MW Royalla Solar Farm started generating power on the 3rd of September 2014 using Photovoltaic technology.  It can provide enough green energy for 4,500 Canberra Homes and is a start for cleaner future!
