This is an interesting tree that my wife showed me. She likes to hike there with our dog. I call this tree the "Winnie The Pooh's Honey Tree" because it reminds me of the tree at which Winnie tried to steal honey from the bees.
The trail's name is Shvil HaMa'ayanot (Springs Trail). It's a part of Shvil Israel (Israel National Trail) and while walking this trail you should follow the white-green-white trail mark or the white-blue-red INT trail matking. Down the path there are several springs (hence the name of the trail). You can swim in some of them, but in others it's not recommended, and some of them are dry.
In the many forest fires that occurred last summer, a number of rocks had collapsed and revealing caves and voids behind them. If you continue you'll discover great rock arch. This is a recommended place to come with children.
את העץ המעניין הזה, הראתה לי אשתי, הנוהגת להגיע לשביל הזה לעתים קרובות עת שהיא מטיילת עם הכלבה שלנו.
קראתי לעץ "העץ של פו הדוב" כי הוא הזכיר לנו את העץ עם החור ממנו פו גנב לדבורים את הדבש.
השביל נקרא שביל המעיינות, הוא חלק משביל ישראל, וניתן לצעוד בו ולעקוב אחר סימון השבילים הירוק או סימון שביל ישראל. בהמשך השביל ישנם מספר מעיינות, בחלקם ניתן לטבול, בחלקם לא מומלץ, וחלקם יבשים.
בשריפות היער הרבות שהיו בקיץ האחרון התמוטטו מספר סלעים וחשפו מאחוריהם חללים ומערות. אם ממשיכים עד מגלים קשת סלע גדולה. למקום מומלץ להגיע עם ילדים.
