A controversial election led to mutinous feelings by those of all political persuasions when Florida, and specifically Palm Beach County’s infamous butterfly ballot, took center stage. The outcome of this presidential election was not known for more than a month after balloting, because of the extended process of counting, recounting & legal wrangling.
This cache is within a Palm beach County ballot box that was used to hold punch cards, hanging chads & all, from that particular year’s election. Know the year to access the treasure.
