We've noticed a few log descriptions, from a nearby cache, that people have often come a cropper trying to climb up the steep bank to get up to this small woodland. So we have placed a cache to mark where the path starts to give easy access up into the woods.
The woods contain a large badger sett with lots of entrances, and we have seen foxes, rats and mice as well as hearing Tawny owls in this small bit of woodland.
