Geocache Description:

This Cache is beside a public footpath with only mud and stiles to negotiate.

There is tree cover to drive your GPS nuts but at the time of placing there was 4m accuracy.

This is a reheat of the original which could not be brought out of hibernation due to sloppy geoadmin.

Us GaSaKaDa's, young and not so young still enjoy the many comical episodes of "Dads Army" off the telly.

This is the 5th in the series so far and is named for the mild mannered Reverend Timothy Farthing, played in the show by Frank Williams.

The vicar, as you probably know is usually in a state of conflict with Captain Mainwaring and the Home Guard over the use of St Aldheims Church Hall and Parish office. The tell tale Verger, Maurice Yateman (Edward Sinclair) keeps things simmering nicely along with his ally the Air Raid Warden William Hodges (Bill Pertwee) leading to many hilarious situations.

The vicar is a man of peace but his skills as an archer come to the fore in the episode "Time on my Hands" where a well placed arrow rescues the hapless Home Guards from the town hall tower following their disasterous detention of a Nazi parachutist
