A circular walk of about 2 miles, which takes you through a rural area with some very nice views. All the caches are hidden away but are meant to be found without too much searching. There are no pens in the caches so please bring your own.
This series took me about 2 hours to put out,but I wasn't hurrying and I did stop frequently on the hilltops to admire the views of Kelston Roundtop and Upton Cheyney to the east, and Oldland village to the west. There are a number of stiles to clamber over and also kissing gates to enjoy, so this is not a walk suitable for wheelchairs. The caches are all hidden on public footpaths. Being farmlands, you may encounter cattle and horses so rural rules apply and dogs should be kept on leads.May be slightly muddy in inclement weather so good footwear is advisable. The lower caches, being closer to habitation, suffer from the usual litter problem ,so you may consider a spot of CITO, but as you get away from the housing the problem dissappears. Please tuck the containers back safely to keep this series up and running.........Have fun.
