This is NOT a Wherigo, only it was meant to be one. Way back in spring of 2014 we attempted to write a Wherigo involving a pub crawl around all the hostelries in Cockermouth. Sadly our skill sets were not up to the task (or perhaps it was the rigorous testing involving a lot of pubs), so after months of effort, and the subsequent publishing of three other Wherigo caches in Cumbria, we have given up. In fairness, the tall buildings and narrow streets beside some of the pubs also contributed to the difficulties in getting the cartridge to work reliably.
So this is a Traditional Cache beside a very small park set back slightly from a busy street corner.
It is an nice and easy one with street parking close by.
For those of you who really want to do a Wherigo, there are currently three in Cumbria (although two of them involve the same Wherigo cartridge). Congratulations to meltdiceburgh and BigLad & Co. on their excellent Wherigos. If only we had their IT skills.......
