"Ox in Water" is located near Abersdorf, S.-H. along the Gieselau. It is a beautiful hike along the Gieselau valley through forests of large beach and pine trees. The path is, in places a gravel road and in other places it is made up of leaves, pine needles, pine roots and grassland. Along the way there are several ponds. As you travel the path you will notice signs that tell some of the history of the Gieselau valley. One of the information signs will tell you why this cache is called "Ox in Water".
