Welcome to the SE Wisconsin Geo-Hunger Games!


You are looking for a regular sized cache with lots of room for swag and trackables (but bring your own pen). This cache is 1of2 being placed by "District One" as part of the 2015 Geo-Hunger Games. These two Hunger Games-themed caches are along the beautiful Menomonee River Parkway in Wauwatosa, with both being less than 200 feet from parking.
DISTRICT ONE: THE LUXURY DISTRICT
Each district in the world of the Hunger Games has a different role in society. "District One makes the luxury goods that decorate and beautify our great capital. Its excellent taste and craftsmanship keep capital residents bewigged and bedazzled year-round. Its primary industry is manufacturing luxury items for the capital." This cache contains swag reflective of District One's many goldsmiths, jewelers, perfumers, furriers, and hairstylists living and working in the district. If you've seen the Hunger Games movies or read the books then you know that the capital residents have some pretty "colorful" clothes, jewelry, and hair styles.

There were 12 two-person teams ("districts") competing in the Geo-Hunger Games series of caches, with each team hiding two caches (the contest ended October 2015). We are district one. Since this is a sponsor cache, the more people that found this cache, signed in, and posted a FOUND log online, the more "sponsor points" our district earned in the game.
