This is what we call a kiddie cache. This is what we call a kiddie cache. NOTE: Since Ivan the Terrible came through the cache is still loaded with kiddie bounty but do not let the kids search for it. UPDATE: There is a letterbox above the cache location, this is not the cache. You are looking for a ammo can. This cache is located within Hummelstown, Pa. It is off of a small nature trail on the west side of town. Most of the trail follows Swatara Creek. There is a large sign off of Main St that says Hummel Nature Trail. Parking is available but the park closes at 7PM. The original owners Devereaux and Laxman placed this cache with young children in mind. The original owners, 6 and 5 year old daughters had no problem with it. If there is a lot of rain it can get a little muddy. Round trip from the parking lot is around 20 minutes with small kids. You will notice that the flowers are identified and some of the trees have signs telling you what kind they are. The stash was in a small Rubber Maid container. If you bring toys, bring small ones. UPDATE: Take time to enjoy the finished trail, which now includes benches to rest the weary bones, and bridges that cross the swampy areas.
