This cache has been archived.

sunflowersu: Time to archive, though jazzbiscuit and yontel have yet to log. (Perhaps they can still log even though the event is archived.) Thanks again for attending; it was a lot of fun for me! [^]

Geocache Description:

NOTE:  Moving this event to the third TUESDAY for the next few months.  Time is still at 6:00pm; usually ending about 8:00pm.

New and seasoned geocachers are invited for a monthly group GeoChat.  We love to talk caching!  Even if you have not found a cache yet, but are interested in learning about geocaching, come join us.  Food and table service will be provided for the October Event.

This October EVENT will be at the Ashland Fire Company Nature Center, 1496 St. Rt. 511 S., Ashland (near the St. Rt. 42 bypass).  One of sixteen parks that make up the Ashland County Park District (ACPD), this one has a heated cabin with a kitchen and restroom.

The gate will be open about 5:00pm and the drive will wind through the woods and lead to a large parking lot and the cabin.  If you want to arrive before then, there is a smaller parking lot beside the closed gate, and after walking around the gate and along the gravel drive, there is a walking path that goes through the woods and is a bit shorter (but muddier) than walking along the drive to the cabin.  There are two caches not far from the large parking lot.

Please post "WILL ATTEND" if you think you might be able to attend, so food can be planned accordingly.  If anyone wants to bring a food item, that is fine, but please do not think that you have to bring food to attend.  I want everyone who can come to relax and enjoy the geochatting.

There may be an update on park district geocaches and questions answered about placement of ACPD caches.
