WC GeoTrail - Vernon Cemetery Traditional Cache

The Washington County Heritage GeoTrail is a game created by the Washington County TDC. Players must find 15 caches in four quadrants. You must complete all caches in the NW Quadrant and four caches in each of the remaining quadrants: NE, SE, and SW. People to complete these requirements will receive a trackable. Across the grounds, can be found gravestones of veterans of the Second Seminole War, the Civil War and the wars of the 20th Century. Some stones have eroded and are difficult to read. Vernon Cemetery is the burial site of Stephen J. Roche, Washington County delegate and signer of the first Florida Constitution at St Joseph, FL 1838-1839.
