Ein weiterer kleiner Wandercache an einem meiner Lieblingswege in Plakias.
Der "Kalypso Walk" führt von Plakias aus rund um die Halbinsel Kakomouri herum bis zum Hotel Kalypso und von da aus weiter über eine steile Treppe bis zur Bucht von Damnoni. Für die gesamte Strecke von Plakias nach Damnoni oder umgekehrt sollte man etwa 1.5 Stunden einplanen. Der Cache selber liegt in der Nähe der höchsten Stelle des Weges auf einem kleinen Felsplateau, von wo aus man einen tollten Blick über die gesamte Bucht von Plakias hat.
Gut kombinieren kann man den Cache mit den beiden in der Nähe liegenden Caches "The Wall of Plakias" und "Plakias". Auch wenn Letzterer nur einen Steinwurf entfernt ist, dürfte der direkte Weg von dort aus eher schwierig sein!
Yet another cache on one of my most famous walks in the Plakias area.
The Kalypso Walk leads around the peninsula "Kakomouri" all the way down to the hotel Kalypso and then, via a steep staircase, further to Damnoni beach. It might take you about 1.5 hours for the complete way Plakias-Damnoni or vise versa.
The cache itself is placed near the highest point of the walk, on a rocky plateau, from where you'll have a fantastic view over Plakias Bay.
This cache can be nicely combined with the two other caches "The Wall of Plakias" and "Plakias". But don't be fooled - the direct way from the latter one would be rather tricky and probably at least T4!
