Geocache Description:

A small cache on top of an esker in the Sims Corner National Natural Landmark area. Turn north off of Hwy 172 onto Road O and after a mile turn west (left) on Road 15 NE. There is room for parking where the road crosses the crest of the esker ridge. Take a short walk on top of the esker ridge to the cache. The cache is on WA DNR public land.

Eskers are ridges of sand, gravel and cobbles left behind by melting glaciers. For more information on eskers, you can check out the earthcache "River Under Ice" (GC5E4FQ) which is located close to the parking coordinates. The cache is a small camoed lock-and-lock. Please rehide the cache well.

Congratulations to trapper and me for the FTF!
