Geocache Description:

Chapel Amble is a picturesque village 3 miles from the town of Wadebridge in North Cornwall. At its centre is the village green with an ancient piggery on it.Surrounding the green are a number of quaint cottages and the village pub, ”The Malsters Arms”.The River Amble runs through the village to join the River Camel, where in past times barges sailed to Amble.St Aldheims Chapel stood here for many years.

"A Ramble around Amble" is a series of 27 caches with an assortment of cache containers, set on Country lanes throughout Chapel Amble and the surrounding area.  The caches can be done either: walking, cycling or by car and the total mileage is approximately 4.5 miles. There is parking at the start of the series, and at some of the cache locations there are pull-ins available. Please do not block farm entrances or gateways and be vigilant of farm machinery.  Please be extra careful with geokids/geohounds as these roads can be very busy especially in the Summer months. There is a pub in Chapel Amble and one halfway around in St Kew Churchtown where refreshments are available, please check opening times.  "Hope you enjoy the series !"

Parking is available on entering the village of Chapel Amble, if you choose to walk or cycle the series.

The cache container you are looking for is a small pot, and the cache is placed near to the start of the series. Parking is available at cache site number 2 and at the village green near the pub.

Please bring your own pen/pencil and please replace container as found.
