Geocache Description:

There used to be a cache here by RayT but it was recently archived.  So I reserected the cache. See the old cache here

This cache is located just outside Sequoia National Park and near the Gateway Inn.

Significance: Built in 1922.  Pumpkin Hollow Bridge, an arched bridge made of reinforced concrete, is situated on Highway 198. It has served as an approach bridge to Sequoia National Park. The modern quality of this bridge contrasts greatly with those located within the park. With all the rain we have had there is now some Poison Oak at GZ. Be careful!
