after finding this cache #2, you have to go through a secure gate once again and through a few fields until you reach the signposted walk route. sadly these new caches are not dog friendly. there is a sign on the gate and it reads
"Cattle sometimes graze in this field. cows can be aggressive when protecting their young. please do not take your dog into the field if calves are present".
on my way back i came across the farmer feeding the cows and they had moved down to the field i had to cross. i gave them a wide berth and they were happy munching away on their feed. please respect the animals. also please were suitable footwear as the ground can get quite boggy and try to avoid the "cow dung. thanks jim.
