The cache was placed very near to a disc golf course we designed. Hole #2 will play along the opposite side of the flood plain from the cache.
The course will be a 9 hole (long) course featuring 2 pin placements per hole (DISCatchers) and 6' x 12' concrete tee pads.
It doesn't look like much now but will be a playable course within the next few months. The mowers were very good at their work, removing all bushes and trees, leaving no obstacles to work with. The hope is for future landscaping improvements and man-made obstacles. For now the course will just test your wind game.
This cache was placed in celebration the day after the Rotary gave $10,000 to make the course a reality.
There are tennis courts, a splash pad, nature trail, library, skatepark, playground, and restrooms all within walking distance of the cache.
*PLEASE do not include any pictures or spoilers of the actual hide location in your log. Always remember the next cacher wants to enjoy the cache as much as you did and they will find it in whatever condition you leave it in. As always be aware of your surroundings while caching, practice CITO, and always have fun. *If leaving/taking/or discovering TBs ALWAYS log them as soon as possible. They do not belong to you and do have owners intent on watching their progress. Please do your part in either helping the TBs along their journey or ensuring they are left safely for the next cacher to enjoy.
