North Lyneham is named after Sir William Lyne, premier of New South Wales from 1899 to 1901. The streets are named after artists and people associated with the development of early Canberra. The suburban centre features a little row of shops and business, and nearby park and playground, surrounded by medium density housing and residential blocks. From here you can find caches in the open bushland along the ridge, as well as a the nearby historic school house. Enjoy!
