White River Red&Drake Cache #125 Traditional Cache

A series of paddle caches placed along the White River West Fork from Bloomfield to Elnora. Most may be reached by boat while others require disembarking. The caches were hidden over a span of 3 days during which the water level at the Newberry gauge was around 2.3 feet.

Cache is a camo'd preform container hidden along the river.While on the water, please beware of fast currents, Asian Carp which can jump when startled, and be sure to bring plenty of drinking water, as well a caching buddy for safety. A Watercraft will be required, and please follow all DNR regulations.

Bloomfield ramp is located at N39º 01.800', W86º 58.080', and the Elnora ramp is located at N38º 54.000', W87º 06.175'. Our total paddle distance was 32 miles; your results may vary. You may refer to the "Related Web Page" link at the top of the cache page for the current river level at Newberry.
