Geocache Description:

This is the Northern-most commercial airstrip to our knowledge in New Zealand.  If you are lucky you may see a plane land or take-off.

If you are short on time then you can take advantage of flying in to see Cape Reinga - there is no closer airstrip, so you are ferried by car to the Cape.

It is the alternative way to travel to the top of New Zealand to experience its beauty, history and scenery from both the air and on land, with the added bonus of avoiding a long road trip if you are short on time.

Cache is a medium size (approx 750ml) screw-top plastic container with log, pencil and space for small swaps.
