Geocache Description:

A cache and dash with some interesting information.

The sign is only in Spanish so I have "tried to" translate it for you into English in the hope you can also understand some of the buildings history.

English

This old farmhouse is mentioned in texts from the mid-eighteenth century and whose construction could be much older, because the land of the farmhouse was donated by the Catholic kings in 1492, five years after the Conquest (of Malaga.*) The donation was received for the hospital 50% of the profits were to be used to build a church, "second Immaculate Conception" Parish in Mijas. Thus in the future maintain their own incomes 50 / 50.

* The Siege of Málaga (1487) was an action during the Reconquest of Spain in which the Catholic Monarchs conquered the city of Málaga and surrounding areas from the Muslims. The siege lasted about four months. It was the first conflict in which ambulances, or dedicated vehicles for the purpose of carrying injured persons, were used. I hope this gives you an idea of the history of the building. I hope my translation is near enough.
