A Fishin' Hole Traditional Cache

Winter Friendly. Bring your fishing rod, bait and you can cast along the shores, go out in a boat, or walk along the sandbars to find your own spot. This area was heavily flooded in 2011 and a lot of the sand remains in certain parts of the area.  Bring your own writing tool and place cache container in exact location to keep away from mugglers.

This area is a popular recreational area in spring, summer and fall. Camping, boating, sightseeing, birding, and fishing are some of the activities. In the fall you can visit Papa's Pumpkin patch and in the winter Papa's Polar Patch for many more activities and photo opportunities. Wildlife abound in this area and you can fish year round with the warm water coming from the Heskett plant across from the boat ramp. Lots of geese in the area also and an awesome spot to run your dog. Bring own writing tool. Room for log only and please place back in exact location to keep mugglers away and winter friendly.
