Event Date and Time
- Saturday 15 November 2014 at 08h00 and complete at 08h30.
- The hike will start at 06h00 for 06h30 down to GZ.
- Krantzkloof Flat Rock at the bottom of the gorge (see additional waypoints) is where the event will take place
General Details
This is an event to enjoy the trails, waterfalls and nature in general as we walk through Kloof Gorge in the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve.
We will meet at 06h00 for 06h30 at the Uve Road parking and the hike will commence at 06h30 sharp.
From Uve Road we will follow the yellow trail into the gorge
Once we reach the flat rock by the Molweni River on the trail we will take a moment to let everyone appreceate the views and have a snack / drink
It is estimated that we will reach our destination at approximately 13h00 - 14h00
Requirements
This can be a strenuous hike.
You will need a hat or cap, good shoes (or hiking boots) and plenty of water. If the day is hot rehydrates could be beneficial. If you have a hiking pole / hiking staff, bring it along.
Bring something to snack on to keep your energy up.
Don't forget your camera!
Krantzkloof Nature Reserve is run by Ezemvelo Wildlife and a nominal admission charge of R20 is levied at the picnic site.

You must be present with the group at the Flat Rock to sign the log.
