The "Cache" (virtual) is the top of a small mountain near Salatiga Central Java. By car, this is about 1.5 hours northwest of Solo, 1 hour south of Semarang, and about 2 hours from Yogyakarta (Magelang route).
"Cache" (virtual) is a monument marking the summit of the “sleeping elephant” mountain (Gunung Gajah). [Cache coordinates: S7 21.279 / E110 25.943] The hike to the summit is fairly easy and only takes about 20 to 30 minutes to get to the summit at about 1225 meters elevation. There are two trails to chose from after the first 10 minutes of hiking and either one will get you to the summit. SEE THE PHOTOS - NOT FROM THE CACHE BUT VERY CLOSE!
