I've been at this fishing village several times now and I thought it would be a great place for a cache. My most recent visit was on my birthday. We had a great meal at the location where the cache is hidden. It is worth the visit to this village to meet the locals, explore its beautiful views, or stop by for a refreshment and/or a great Cuban meal. There are many ways to get to this spot from the nearby resorts. It makes for a good excuse to get out and see the Cuban countryside. The cache is hidden here with the permission of the owner. My friend Palacio explained geocaching to him and he was happy to have it hidden there. Make sure you take a minute to say hi if anyone is around. If you want to be stealthy, just pose at the sign and grab the cache as you have your picture taken by a friend. Have fun and enjoy. Please return in the same spot. BYOP to sign the log.
