Planinarski dom Runolist sagradilo je 1936. godine Planinarsko društvo "Runolist" prema projektu arhitekta Vladimira Streka. Dvokatni objekt planinarskog doma, jednostavne tlocrtne dispozicije, funkcionalno koncipiran, skladno je uklopljen u ambijent šume, prilagođen konfiguraciji terena s očuvanim panoramskim vizurama. Zbog izrazitih arhitektonskih karakteristika koje proizlaze iz tradicionalnih i modernih konstruktivno‐oblikovnih načela ovaj planinarski dom je vrijedno ostvarenje hrvatske moderne arhitekture te je službeno zaštićen kao kulturno dobro.
Do doma se dolazi planinarskom stazom 16, a dom se nalazi na 836 m nadmorske visine. Relativno je blizu glavne Sljemenske ceste i do njega je također uređen makadamski put pa se može doći i autom. U blizini doma (udaljeno oko 10 minuta hoda), ispod stijene zvane Šumarev grob nalazi se izvor u stijeni, odakle ima još desetak minuta strmijeg uspona do Planinarskog doma "Puntijarka".
Ovaj planinarski dom je i Školski objekt Saveza gorskih vodiča Hrvatske (SGVHR) i Planinarskog saveza Zagreba koji objekom i upravlja. Dom ima besplatnu bežičnu mrežu (WiFi).
Mountain Lodge Runolist was built by 1936 Mountaineering Club "Runolist" designed by architect Vladimir Strek. The two-story facility mountain hut, simple layout of functionally designed, harmoniously integrated in the environment forests, adapted to the terrain with preserved panoramic views. Because of the distinctive architectural characteristics arising from traditional and modern constructive formal principles of this mountain home is worth achieving Croatian modern architecture and is officially protected as a cultural monument.
The hut can be reached by hiking trail 16, this mountain lodge is located at 836 m above sea level. It is relatively close to the main Sljemenska road and can be reached by car. Close to home (about 10 minutes walk), under a rock called Šumarev tomb is a water source, from where there are ten minutes of the climb to the mountain lodge "Puntijarka."
This mountain home is a school facility of Croatian Mountain Guides Association (SGVHR) and the Mountaineering Association of Zagreb. The home has a free wireless network (WiFi).
