You have now reached The ruins of Whitley Mill, the old ruins of Whitley Mill and its mill pond, this was a water powered mill using the very fine water coming from a spring a little way up the valley at Spring Head, The Troops from Stationed here dammed the pond as it is seen today.
from here continue over the bridge and up the hill passing the ruins of the old stone mill cottages.
