This is where the start of the Lancelin Ocean Classic, Australia's largest ocean festival is held each year in January. Starting in 1986 the Ledge to Lancelin Ocean Marathon has now become the biggest and longest running windsurfing event in Australia which now includes kite surfing and new water sports running over four days attracting athletes from all over the world.
