I am always amazed that when you are out in the middle of nowhere in the sand or in the rocks that you will always see a single bush or tree just hanging out by itself with no other bushes or trees close by. I enjoy seeing these, especially the ones who are beating the odds by being green and full of life. Enjoy the find and watch out for the little thorns that always try and draw a little bit of your blood.
