The route to the cache takes you up Summer Lane from the centre of Alfington. Part way up there is a stony footpath which leads down through the trees and to a small stream. Hidden here is a cache of Lego and other bits suitable for children. The big "pond" area makes a great splash when stones are thrown into it, and the stream is generally shallow enough for a "bear-hunt" kind of adventure.
Count the spots in the picture below.
Make sure that children are adequately supervised due to the stony path and water.
This cache has been placed with the help of our 5-year-old. We walked to the cache from near the village noticeboard, where there is usually a little bit of space to park on the grass.
The tree cover made getting a decent set of coordinates quite difficult, so the hint is intended to be pretty specific so you don't have a wasted trip.
Make sure that you take your wellies. Swaps of interesting bits of Lego would be appreciated - we'll try to keep the container stocked with MiniFigs until we run out!
