The Cache is hidden on the Krokodilberg hiking Trail which is 11,33 km long and traverses a scenic mountainous area so bring along your camera. Please note that there are no water points on the hiking routes.
Remember to be prepared, BYOP and the Cache container may be able to hold small trade items or a small TB.
To the East of the Cache there is small dam build by the Water Affairs Dept. in 1921 and the Hausleitner family were responsible for taking daily readings for many years. The original cable car crossing the river was constructed in 1938 and has now been replaced with a safer and more modern design.
