Spa Park Hot Pools (Central Plateau) Traditional Cache

Spa Park Hot Pools are a hidden gem - and one of New Zealand's best free, natural, easily accessible hot pools.

If you're bathing here (thoroughly recommended), be very careful of your valuables. There are free lockers by the hot pools but at the time of this update no one could work out how to work them.

Some intrepid souls snorkel (with wetsuits) or drift down from below the bridge in Taupo on lilos, inner tubes, paddle boards etc with the reward of the hot pools at the end.

Beware of the blackberries near GZ.
