The cache is easily accessible from the Range Rd car park and is one of several in the area. If you are traversing the Ridge Trail, then a short diversion down Range Track will also bring you to the location. You are looking for a cache hidden by the local little people.
The cache is named after that famous old western song “Home, Home on the Range” with apologies to Dr. Brewster M. Higley of Smith County, Kansas who penned the original lyrics in the 1870’s.
You can sing along to the tune while hunting the cache.

“Oh, give me a home where the dog walkers roam
Where the birds and the bike riders play
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And the sky is not cloudy all day.
Chorus
Gnome, Gnome on the range,
Where the dogs and the bike riders play,
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And the sky is not cloudy all day.
