This cache is part of MadMaxInMo's Boy Scout merit badge for geocaching. One of the requirements to earn this merit badge is to "Set up and hide a public geocache, following the guidelines in the Geocaching merit badge pamphlet. Before doing so, share with your counselor a six-month maintenance plan for the geocache where you are personally responsible for the first three months. After setting up the geocache, with your parent’s permission, follow the logs online for 30 days and share them with your counselor."
The Cancer Memorial Park has an added benefit in that it is next door to the Boy Scouts meeting site, if you drive onto the square from the east, you might spot the Troop 177 trailer!
You're looking for a nano, BYOP, the park closes at about 8PM, the local police lock the gates, please don't enter when the gates are closed. If you see a muggle filling the fountain, it's probably one of the scouts as they volunteer to keep it filled during the summer.
EDIT: This cache has been muggled twice now, so the location has been changed, it will be harder to find. However, you can now find it when the park is closed!
FYI: The square in Bowling Green is ONE WAY!!
Permission to place this cache was granted by the Cancer Memorial Park Foundation Board
