Geocache Description:

Scituate, RI has quite an interesting past. Even many town residents don't know the activities that went on before the reservoir was created.

Scituate, MA is older with a bigger population. Some who live there don't realize there is another Scituate just 76 miles away!

One surprising fact is that very little of Scituate actually has access to the "city" drinking water provided by the reservoir; most households use well water.

This cache has the blessing and permission of the Town Council and Public Works director. Dawn to dusk caching only. Container is a big, customized, round Lock & Lock and is not in a stone wall. Coordinates taken with a Garmin GPSr. Please sign the log(online finds without a corresponding physical log signature will be deleted)and rehide as found to prevent muggling.
