Geocache Description:

A pleasant intresting walk along the River Ouse, From the Archbishops Palace in Bishopthorpe to the boat yard at Acaster Mariner and maybe beyond. I have included my 2 ealier caches GC50HP7 A Dark Corner and GC50N5T Lets call it a Tree.

The River Ouse is prone to flooding and some of these caches will be effected  by the flood water and be unaccessable. Although none of them are close to the waters edge it is adviseable to keep children and pets under control.

There is parking, shops  3 pubs which serve food, an excellent deli which sources it food from Yorkshire in Bishopsthorpe. There is a pub in Acaster Malbis and some parking or you can be take theboat from York to Acaster.

Bring a pen and tweezers also a flat headed screwdriver to gain access.

Enjoy the walk and the search.
