Cabin In The Woods Traditional Cache
BobIsUnreal: i hid this 3/13/2015 over ten years ago , as my second cache.
it was hand built mini toy log cabin from scratch pine boards
it even got briefly featured at the first 2014 metro.
the cache was located at a location that had remnants of a shack, and was a play on words.
after 10 years the container degraded, and i only play rarely anymore.

I was out here wandering a few years ago and I found this place in the woods,
I don't know what this place was for or why it was built all the way out here,
But I Found it to be a interesting spot out in the middle of nowhere.
The nature area here in general has nice things to see if you happen to be around at the right moment.
I spotted frogs , a snake and a turtle while I was here doing maintenance.
You can't park anywhere near this cache. You shouldn't park in ANY nearby lots because they are private businesses. No parking on omar street except where not yellow marked. Specifically,There's spots in front of the main gazebo area to park legally on the street.
There is a somewhat established path near the lake that's pictured in a photo on the gallery.
This path is shown on the map on the notice board by the gazebo. This current path will get you 50% to gz, The rest may be a bushwhack for a hundred feet due to growth But The area opens up, Its muddy but flat after the trail disappears, There's fallen logs you will need to find to cross two streams. Location is about 10 feet from a atv trail. I made it here easily on foot - But this way may not be as easy for everyone if they can't crouch/duck under branches.If you're getting very wet , You probably went the wrong way.
Alternate access may be possible if you want to just walk down the road 1000 or so feet from parking and cut into the woods. Either way , You could maybe end up muddy or wet. The approach from the park provides potentially more to see.
Coords from a phone,100 points averaged , should be within 15 feet.
There is a sort of bonus keychain souvenir thingy for first finder,
The item was a last minute idea so its not as pretty or finished as it could have been.
Ill work on improving that aspect for future souvenirs.
Cache has some boring tradable items but doesn't have much space remaining as is.
If you brought standard sized trackables or items , I am sure that you can place them 'inside' Instead of where items currently are found.
