Geocache Description:


On the 5th of November 2012, I found a cache - little did I know that this would be the start of a record!

Until recently I actually had my cache with 2011 and 2012 mixed up, and I thought the streak had begun differently - I thought it had begun while we were setting off fireworks, but turns out that was the year before. This one I actually found on the way back from the gym in the morning, and in the evening, I couldn't find a cache, as there were too many muggles where we were going fireworks!!
Looking through my logs, I realised that even a couple days later I said that I was filling in a calander day, but didn't expect to complete the calander within the next year, so obviously the streak idea was born later.

I wanted to do an event to celebrate two years (Here's hoping I don't break the streak between now and Nov 5th! ) but realised I won't be in Christchurch then, but rather have managed to be allowed to work from Auckland for a week that week!! - But then figured, how perfect, this is the location of where I started my streak!!

So this is actually very close to the first cache of my streak. I was thinking of doing a picnic in that park, but with no sheltering, this is the closest indoor location I could find to the spot of the first cache two years ago.

Never been here before, but menu looks pretty good, and not too pricey either!

I'm super excited to meet up with you all again!!!
