Geocache Description:

bb2fba2a-f31d-4847-b200-50c883efc796.jpg (640×480)

I cachen: Logbog og blyant.

Nær Metro Amager strand. Parkering langs strandvejen.

English:

In the cache: Logbook and pencil.

Near Metro Amagerstrand. Parking along the beach.

When the island was build, making the Lagoon, they found a Stone Age living place from 7.800 years ago about 200 meter out in the water and 1½ meter under the sand. We only found very few places like this at this coast.

There was found very sharp arrow heads, things of wood and bone in the very fine plants. They also found the bone from Tune fish, which can tell us, that the climate was warmer. To show the place, three bigger stones are placed at the beach (Stage 1). The beach here must not be damaged by other activities.
