With a name like that, of course, we went with a “powder” theme.
The nearby river was named after the early trapper/traders
reference to hiding their extra gunpowder needed on an extended
hunting trip. This is an easy walk from the roadside to a small
park the whole family could enjoy. Bring your fishing rod (no bait
allowed), or a frisbee or just a picnic basket to enjoy the river.
Swimming, if the temp is right, is also possible. We are using a
clever "Furcifer10" design cache container which has an interior
space of roughly 5"x5"x5" so you will need to exhange "powdered"
items smaller than that dimension. Please carefully close the
container....once you are able to open it!
In our homage to the river’s past we present a reborn cache
filled with:
- Denture powder
- Flea powder
- Baby powder
In keeping with the theme, please bring a “powdered” exchanged, but
please, no gunpowder or similar items. PLEASE NO FOOD ITEMS.
