This cache is set just outside the village of Barrowby. It is situated adjacent to the very busy A52 and close to NB and SB sliproads to the A1. There is NO parking on the A52 or immediately adjacent to the cache. I would suggest that you park either at the parking waypoint (just off Rectory Lane) which has space for one car - and has a fantastic view over the Vale of Belvoir or in the village and walk to the cache either along Butt Lane (which is a nice walk) or there is a pavement on one side of Rectory Lane that will get you to the cache site. There are several caches in the village within easy walk of this cache.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL IF YOU BRING CHILDREN TO THIS ONE - BOTH THE ADJACENT ROADS ARE VERY BUSY.
I haven't been able to find anything about the origin of this lane but I speculate that it may have been near to the site of some archery butts - if you do know I would love to know.
Congratulations to Baghunter and 1cachefinder on their joint FTF
